The Kano State Government, through the Ministry of Planning and Budget, has officially issued the 2027 Budget Call Circular to all Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs).
This circular marks the commencement of the 2027 Budget Process, guiding MDAs on the preparation and submission of their revenue and expenditure proposals in line with the Public Financial Management Law (2020).
The circular emphasizes transparency, accountability, and alignment with the Medium-Term Expenditure Framework (MTEF) and Medium-Term Sector Strategies (MTSS). It also outlines fiscal performance for 2026, sector ceilings for 2027, and policy directions focusing on education, health, agriculture, infrastructure, and social protection.
